Rate & Payment:
$120 per hour.
Payment is due in full at the time of service. I accept cash, credit, debit, and HSA cards.
Services:
Therapeutic, medically focused massage and manual lymphatic drainage therapies.
No two treatments are ever the same. My rate is time-based, not service-based. All treatments and modalities offered are customized for you, as you are today. This offers flexibility and creativity.
Insurance:
I am not in network with any health insurance plans.
I can provide you with a Super Bill for you to submit to your insurance. Any reimbursement, in part, full, or denial, will be between you and your insurance company, and is not something I can guarantee or negotiate.
Many insurance providers require a diagnosis code for reimbursement. This code must be provided to me by a prescribing provider (such as an MD, ND, DO, DC, NP, LAC, etc.) in the form of a prescription for massage therapy. Although I am a healthcare provider licensed by the Washington State Department of Health, diagnosing and prescribing are out of scope for Licensed Massage Therapists.
Sick Policy:
Please contact us immediately to reschedule if you are sick or have been exposed to a highly contagious disease (such as COVID-19 or flu). I request you wait 24 hours after acute symptoms resolve before returning for massage or manual lymphatic drainage.
Cancellation Policy:
To be respectful of everyone’s time, I require 24 hours notice for cancellations and rescheduling. Clients who late-cancel and/or no-show will be responsible for the total fee of the appointment booked. This fee is non-refundable.
You will be required to save a card on file when booking online. This card is held to secure your appointment and will only be used in the event of a late cancellation, no-show, or forgotten payment. Payment will always be taken in-person, at the time of your session.
You may cancel or reschedule online until 48 hours prior to your appointment start time. If you need to cancel within 48 hours for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible.
Right to Refusal:
Lisa Howe, LMT, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. This includes but is not limited to anyone who requests treatment or services that are outside my scope of practice. I will exercise this right if anyone arrives for their treatment under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs; or arrives visibly ill. I reserve the right to charge for the session time, whether or not services were rendered, if I so choose.
